We are so fortunate to have Miss Holley at Jim Allen.  Her enthusiasm, creativity, and total devotion are evident in her students' many successes and happy faces.  There is never a dull moment in Miss Holley's class.  Each student interacts with a member of a nursing home through penpal letters, and a visit. She is participating in the Laptops for Literacy Grant program, which is a program for teachers who are actively pursuing technology skills in their professional development process.  Her students each have a laptop computer and access to other tools such as iPods, digital cameras and camcorders to produce multimedia projects to reflect their academic learning and achievements.
